Changelog
What shipped, and when
Dated release notes for the Baseplate desktop app. Bug fixes and dependency bumps are folded into the release they shipped in rather than listed individually.

- Studio Copilot with vision. The agent can see the Studio viewport rather than reasoning about the game purely through code and logs.
- Question mode in the Studio plugin, plus a reworked panel: the prompt lives in the dock, edits go through the recording API so they land in the normal undo history, and the agent can highlight and focus objects in 3D.
- macOS support for the Studio view, and packaging fixed so it does not ship broken.

- Voice Prompt works on the desktop app — audio is recorded locally and transcribed with your own speech key.
- The Studio bridge survives Roblox auto-updates. Studio updating itself used to quietly break the connection; the bridge now re-establishes it, with a live preflight check on Play control instead of assuming a file's presence means it works.
0.18.02026-07-21
- Baseplate Verify — a local project health score and the shortest evidence-backed path to a verified state.
- Six production labs: Regression Lab, Safe DataOps, Growth Autopilot, Remote Contract Compiler, Performance CI and Verify.
- Cross-platform release publishing fixed, so Windows and macOS builds ship from the same run.
0.17.x2026-07-21
- Verified playtests — a PASS now requires evidence from a real Play session rather than the agent's own account of what it did.
- Distribution hardening and Microsoft Store packaging work.
0.16.x2026-07-17 → 07-19
- Cursor became a full engine, able to run the verified Copilot and join a mixed crew.
- Starter kits — pick a genre and agents scaffold and build a real gameplay loop into it.
- Self-service billing: cancel or switch plans yourself through the Stripe portal, reachable from inside the app.
- Fixed Codex sign-in and a Cursor tile that stalled on a trust prompt.
0.15.02026-07-17
- Team collaboration on the Studio plan — shared Kanban board, shared prompt library and live presence. Opt-in, and it syncs board cards, prompts and display names only; never source files, keys or transcripts.
0.14.02026-07-17
- Grok and Cursor engines added alongside Claude Code and Codex.
- Mixed-engine crews — different CLIs building in parallel in one crew, with enforced file ownership.
On version numbers: Baseplate is pre-1.0 and ships often. Auto-update handles it — the app checks on start and every four hours, and asks once before restarting.
