Refund Policy
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
We want you to be happy with Baseplate. If a paid plan isn't right for you, contact us within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund it — no questions asked. This applies to your first purchase of a plan.
2. Your statutory right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As an EU consumer buying digital services at a distance, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because a licence key unlocks features immediately, at checkout you may be asked to consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once delivery begins. Our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee in Section 1 applies regardless, and it is more generous than the statutory minimum in most cases.
3. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges; you keep your paid features until the end of the period already paid. We generally do not refund a renewal charge after the period has started, but if something went wrong (for example you meant to cancel and couldn't), contact us — we're reasonable.
4. How to request a refund
Write to us at contact@baseplatedev.com (or via the contact form), giving the email address you used to buy plus your order or license details. Our payment provider (Stripe) handles the refund; it typically reaches your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
5. Exceptions
We may decline refunds in cases of clear abuse — for example, repeatedly buying and refunding, or violating our Terms of Service.
