For Roblox developers
Baseplate is mission control for building Roblox games with AI agents. They playtest your game, read the real error, write the fix in your Luau source, and verify it live in Studio — while you watch.

The flagship loop
Every Roblox dev knows the ritual: playtest, squint at the Output window, alt-tab, guess, repeat. Baseplate's bridge gives agents eyes inside Studio — they run the playtest, read the actual runtime error, fix the cause in your source, and re-run until the console is clean.
The agent runs your game through the live Studio bridge and watches the console — the same output you'd read, minus the squinting.
It reads the real stack trace, finds the cause in your Luau source, and explains it in plain language — not a cryptic dump.
It edits src/ directly. Rojo syncs the change into Studio the moment it's written.
It playtests again and only reports PASS when the console is actually clean. No "should work now".
Exploit Guard
If your server trusts the client — prices, rewards, damage — someone will find it. Exploit Guard audits your live game like an attacker would: it maps every remote, tells you each hole as a plain-language attack story ranked by severity, and writes the server-side hardening for you.
Included free Exploit Guard ships in the Free plan. Protecting your revenue shouldn't be a paywall.
The full toolbelt
Each of these is a one-click mission that runs on a real agent with eyes inside your game — not a chatbot guessing from the outside.
A Foreman plans the mission and spawns builders in their own tiles, each owning its files. Watch a whole feature get built in parallel, narrated in a live mission feed.
"Is it safe to release?" answered honestly: one verdict across runtime, security, data safety and robustness — with every blocker named as its real-world consequence.
Models every currency source and sink in your game, simulates a cohort of players, and flags inflation, progression walls and money-printer loops — with tuned numbers.
Connects to your published game via Open Cloud, reads real player data, and diagnoses retention cliffs, stuck players, corrupted saves and live exploits.
Describe a game in one sentence. Baseplate scaffolds the workspace and a Crew builds the first playable slice — loop, saving, UI — before your coffee cools.
Generates mobile-safe Roblox UI in Luau, then looks at the result through the bridge — overlap, off-screen, contrast — and iterates until the layout is clean.
A knowledge index of your source — ask "where is the shop logic?" and get file:line answers instead of an agent burning tokens re-reading every script.
Battle-tested, one-click missions: gacha with pity, anti-dupe trading, daily streaks, rebirth, global leaderboards. The systems every hit game needs, pre-briefed.
Simulated player load hunting the bugs only multiplayer surfaces: desyncs, two-players-buy-the-last-item races, client-authority holes, state leaks.
The deck
Agents live in tiles on a deck — real terminals when you want them, clean transcripts when you don't. A Kanban board dispatches work, a mission feed narrates progress, and the Studio panel shows your bridge, Rojo and plugin health at a glance.

FAQ
Yes — Baseplate drives your existing Claude Code (or Codex) account. That keeps Baseplate cheap: you're not paying us a markup on tokens, and your usage limits are whatever your AI plan gives you.
No. Baseplate runs entirely locally — the server, the bridge, your source, and your Open Cloud key all stay on your computer. The only network traffic is your own agent talking to your own AI provider.
The bridge. A terminal agent can write Luau, but it's blind — it can't playtest, can't read the Output window, can't check the live DataModel. Baseplate gives agents eyes and hands inside Studio, plus the deck, board, swarms and one-click missions built on top.
You drop back to Free — one agent at a time, bridge and Exploit Guard still included. Your projects, workspaces and history stay untouched on your disk.
The plugin only talks to 127.0.0.1 — your own machine — and Baseplate validates the origin of every connection. Nothing is exposed to the network, and the code that ships is the code we audit before every release.
Free is the full core loop: one agent with complete Studio access, the Playtest Copilot flow, Rojo sync and the Exploit Guard audit. It's deliberately generous — if Baseplate never earns your upgrade, it should still make your game better.
